Leavenworth, Kan. – The Lady Warrior volleyball season came to a close Saturday afternoon with a loss to the University of Saint Mary. They were not able to get into a rhythm from the start of the match to the finish. Sterling lost in straight sets to the Spires, 25-16, 25-20, 25-9.
Aliya McClanahan was Sterling's leader with 5 kills. Three other Warriors, Ashlyn Fast, Morgan Pellegrino, and Chloe Schmidt, had four kills apiece. Aubrey Young added 18 assists to her excellent career and Makenna Linden added 13 more digs to her season total.
Sterling closes out the season with a 13-15 record and was 3-10 in the KCAC.
