SC VB Loses to Tabor in Midweek Match

Hillsboro, Kan. – Sterling College volleyball took a three set loss to Tabor College on Wednesday evening in Hillsboro. They were three very close matches from opening serve to the final point. The final set scores were 25-19, 25-23, 25-22. In the final set, Sterling had a lead late, but could not hold on.

Chloe Schmidt led the Warriors with nine kills, Aliya McClanahan had eight. Makenna Linden paced the way on the Warrior defense with 15 digs and Aubrey Young had 21 assists.

Sterling is on the road at Friends University on Saturday. The 10-9 (1-5) Warriors will try to keep their record above .500 against the 10-11 (0-5) Falcons who are seeking their first KCAC win of the year and are currently on a four-game skid.
