Tennis On Four Match Win Streak

Sterling, Kan. – Both the men's and women's teams are currently riding a four-match win streak after both teams came away with victories over the Friends University Falcons. For the men, this match was one of the most closely contested matches they have faced in the conference season. For the women, they continue to win matches running away.

Men

The Sterling men won the doubles point getting match wins in No. 2 and No. 3 doubles after taking a loss in No. 1 doubles. In singles, two of the three matches that scored points for Sterling went to three sets including a third-set tie breaker that came down to the final points between Pedro Felipoff and Bruno Suiami in No. 1 singles. Alexandre Gaboardi was the lone Warrior with a no-doubt victory in singles. Because of the long matches and a later-than-normal start, as soon as Sterling clinched the match, all other matches were called so the women's competition could get started. Below are the complete results.

They look to extend their streak against the other KCAC co-leader, (#18) McPherson College, on Thursday at home.
