Sterling, Kan. – Lady Warrior soccer was unable to defend the home field Saturday afternoon against the University of Saint Mary. Sterling gave up a lone goal in each half but were not able to find the net themselves.
Dixie Morgan was the keeper of record, playing all 90 minutes of the match. She gave up the two goals on 11 total shots against her on goal. Saint Mary had a total of 12 shots on goal compared to just two by the Warriors.
The Lady Warriors are now 3-3 overall this season with a 1-1 conference record. Sterling hosts York University on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 2 pm. They play at home again on Friday for their Homecoming game starting at 2 pm as well.
