Lady Warrior Soccer Comes Up Short at Tabor

Hillsboro, Kan. – The Lady Warrior soccer team traveled to Hillsboro, Kan. to take on the Tabor College Bluejays. The game went the way of the Jays as they were able to control many facets of the game. Although statistically the game heavily favored Tabor, it was just a 1-0 ballgame with 15 minutes to play in regulation, but a late goal by Tabor made it 2-0 before time expired.

Sterling was only able to put two shots on goal, both by Jessica Gautreau. Dixie Morgan got the start in the net and gave up both goals to Tabor. She earned 15 saves on the day.

Sterling takes on Friends University on Saturday in Wichita at 7:30 pm.
