Warrior Track Attends Tabor College Invite

Hillsboro, Kan. – The Warrior Outdoor Track and Field teams competed over the weekend at the Tabor College Invite. Several athletes competed in first time events for them. Here are just a few highlights of the weekend.

For the women, Jessa Lee competed in the women's 400m Hurdles and finished fifth overall. It was her first time competing in the event this season. A secondary event for Lee was the 4x800 Relay in which the team finished second place. On the field side, Aliya McClanahan finished fourth in the Discuss with a throw of 33.38m. She currently holds the 8th best throw this season in the KCAC.

For the men, Cedric Wilson had another good showing in his running events and High Jump. He placed fifth in the 400m Hurdles, sixth in the 110m Hurdles, and seventh in the High Jump.
