Dixon broke Sterling's school record in both the long jump and 200m dash in his indoor track debut. His long jump is the 18th farthest jump recorded in the NAIA this season. This jump also scored points for the Warriors at a meet filled with NCAA DII and NAIA talent. Both performances on the track and in the field exceed the NCCAA national qualifying standard and are knocking on the door of the NAIA "B" standard.
