SC Golf Takes 4th Behind Hermansen’s Record Performance
Salina, Kan. – Some of the best teams in the KCAC came out to play at the Central Plains Invitational at Salina Country Club in Salina, Kan. The tournament was hosted by Kansas Wesleyan University. Sterling finished 4th overall and the only KCAC team that finished higher was the host KWU. SC finished 31 strokes better than the 5th place team and were only 9 strokes from second place.
Highlighting the tournament was Anders Hermansen who climbed 13 places in the final round to finish second with a 7 under 63; a feat which earned him KCAC Men's Golfer of the Week. This score also put him #1 on the lowest nine hole score and score to par lists. Nick Ritchie also finished with a top 10 finish as he placed 8th individually.

Jillian Jolley played for the Warriors on the women's side and finished 30th overall in the field scoring an 88 and 90 for a two round score of 178.
