Men’s Golf Hosts Top Level Tournament
Memphis, Tenn. – The Sterling College men's soccer team traveled to Memphis, Tennessee to host the NAIA Memphis Shootout against some of the nation's best NAIA teams. There were 15 teams that played in the tournament and Sterling finished the three rounds in the middle of the pack finishing 8th out of the 15 teams. The Shootout was played at TPC Southwind. Southwind played as a Par 72, 6716 yard course for the tournament.
Sondre Jensen finished the highest for the Warriors in a tie for 16th place in on the individual side. He shot 227 for the tournament as consistent as they come. He shot a 76, 76, 75 for the tournament. Just 18 strokes was the difference between 2nd place and where the Warriors finished in 8th.
