Bio

Eric Saiz is entering his second season as an assistant coach for Coach Jackson and the Warriors and his sixth year coaching overall. In 2006, Saiz was the defensive backs coach for the Warriors and for the last two years has been coaching the outside linebackers.

Prior to coaching, he received his undergrad at Sterling College with a bachelor's degree in Christian Ministries. He then went on to receive his masters degree in Organization Management at the University of Great Falls.

Last year, Saiz coached one 2nd team All-Conference selection and led an outside linebacker core that helped Sterling College garner 37.5 sacks which put them in the top 2 in the nation for total sacks.

Saiz played Safety for the Warriors from 2002-2005. During his time there, Saiz was a three-year starter and was a two time Honorable Mention All-KCAC performer. In his senior year, Saiz led the team in tackles and also received the Warrior Award (MVP) for his performance on the field.

Saiz resides in Sterling with his wife, Jessica, along with his four beautiful kids, Jaelynn, Eliana, Amalia, and Micah. Jessica adds three children of her own to the family; Brentley, Brock and Braylee. Jessica currently serves as the head Cheer coach for Sterling College.
