Sterling College cheer improves at Bethel Invite

The Sterling College cheer team continues to improve with each competition this year. At the Bethel Invite on Feb. 14-15, Sterling improved their score by over 10 points from last year at the competition, scoring a 54.16 on Friday, 54.86 during the morning session on Saturday, and a 55.53 in the afternoon session Saturday.

"I am beyond proud of our squad," head coach Jessica Saiz said. "While we are still struggling with some illnesses that are lingering around, they are giving it their all come time to hit that mat."

Sterling's next meet is the KCAC Cheer Championship on March 14.
