Pruitt and Sherraden Named KCAC Cheer Scholar Athletes
WICHITA, Kan. – The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) is pleased to announce that 29 competitive cheer student-athletes have been named 2019-20 KCAC Scholar Athletes. Saige Pruitt (SO/Flower Mound, Texas) and Megan Sherraden (SO/Plainville, Kan.) represent Sterling College on the list.
Eight of the twelve institutions that sponsor competitive cheer have representatives on this list. McPherson College leads the way with eight student-athletes in this group. The group is made up of 14 sophomores, ten juniors, and five seniors.
Student-athletes must have sophomore standing at the start of the sport season, and maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.333 on a 4.0 scale.
