Warrior Wood & Wedge Set for June 14 at Sand Creek Station

STERLING, Kan. – The 29th Annual Sterling College Warrior Wood and Wedge Golf Tournament will take place on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Sand Creek Station in Newton, Kan. The tournament format will be a four-man best-ball scramble. There are only a total of 136 spots available for golfers.

On the day of the event, check-in and warm-up will begin at 8:00 a.m., with instructions to the players provided at 8:45 a.m. At 9:00 a.m., the tournament will begin in a shotgun fashion. A buffet dinner and an awards presentation will follow the event at 2:30 p.m. Throughout the day, a silent auction will feature a variety of memorabilia and experiences.

Your support will help our Sterling College athletic program continue to grow, excel and provide opportunities for our student-athletes to serve. The proceeds from this year's tournament will enable us to upgrade our facilities and purchase the necessary equipment for our continued success. As our team's size continues to grow, there are always things to build, repair and replace. The proceeds from this tournament will provide us with the opportunity to begin working on these projects throughout the 20205-26 school year.
