Tennis Drops Both Matches at Bethel

North Newton, Kan. – Both the men's and women's golf teams lost to Bethel College in one of the last matches of the regular season. The women's team lost 4-3 in a very tough match that came down to the winner of the doubles points. The men were very competitive in their matches, but fell in a much closer match than the deceptive 6-1 score.

Women

The Lady Warriors took wins in No. 2, No. 3, and No. 6 singles, but Bethel took the doubles point early on and that is what proved to be the difference. Ana Alvarez continues to win following up her KCAC Player of the Week honor this week. Nadia Margaritov had a convincing win in No. 3 singles, and Giovana Gaboardi snuck away with an incredibly close win that went to seven points in both sets.
