Golf Season Continues in Manhattan and Newton

The men's team improved from round to round at the Midwest Spring National Invite in Manhattan, Kan. earlier this week. The match was hosted at Colbert Hills Golf Course. This week it was played as a par 72 course at 7278 yards.

The Warriors finished thirteenth out of fifteen teams for the tournament. Their top player for the three round tournament was Anders Hermansen. Anders shot an eleven over 227 which put him in a tie for 28th place in the individual scoring. Below you will find individual results for each of the members of the Warrior's team. While this event was going on, Paige Barnes on the women's side competed in the Bethany College Classic at Sand Creek Station in Newton, Kan. Barnes had a top twenty finish with a two-round score of 169. She shot an 85 in the first round and improved by a stroke and shot an 84 in round two. O'Brien Hall competed and finished the first day, and withdrew on the second day with other activities she needed to attend on campus.
