Warrior Track Sends Four to NCCAA National Championships

Columbia, S.C. - Sterling College is sending two men and two women to the NCCAA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships. Maurice Gray, Cedric Wilson, Aliya McClanahan, and Jessa Lee will be representing the Warriors this weekend.

Wilson will compete in the Men's High Jump, and the 110M and 400M Hurdles. Gray will compete in the Triple Jump and the Long Jump. On the women's side, Aliya McClanahan is competing in the Discuss throw and Jessa Lee will run the Women's 400M Hurdles.

All of these athletes have met the minimum qualifying standard for their event at some point throughout the spring season. Sterling College is in its third year of dual membership with the NCCAA and the NAIA.

Below you will find the schedule of events for the Sterling College athletes.

Thursday
    Men's High Jump – 1:30 PM (Cedric Wilson)
    Women's Discus – 3:30 PM (Aliya McClanahan)
    Men's 110M Hurdle – 5:30 PM (Cedric Wilson)
    Men's Triple Jump – 7:00 PM (Maurice Gray)

Friday
    Men's Long Jump – 12:15 PM (Maurice Gray)
    Women's 400M Hurdles – 2:30 PM (Jessa Lee)
    Men's 400M Hurdles – 2:45 PM (Cedric Wilson)
