Perry Finishes Strong at Nationals, Earns All-American Honors

BROOKINGS, S.D. - Corrssia Perry (SO/Carrollton, Ga.) represented the Sterling College indoor track and field team at the 41st Annual Indoor Track & Field NAIA National Championships in Brookings, S.D.

Perry competed in both the 60m dash and the 200m dash, reaching the finals in the 200m.

In the 60m, she placed 10th, finishing with a time of 7.70. She then finished eighth in the 200m with a time of 25.08 earning All-American honors for the second-straight season.

"Corrssia had a fantastic indoor season and we're very proud of her," said head coach Cameron Magnall. "She came back strong from her lost COVID season and overcame an off-season injury to perform at the highest levels. We're very excited for the outdoor season."

Outdoor Track and Field will be underway soon, as the Warriors will officially begin the outdoor season on Saturday, March 20th at Pratt Community College.
