Bio

Jeff Duke is starting his second season running the Men's and Women's Tennis team after returning to his alma mater for the 2022-23 season. 

Coach Duke is no stranger to Sterling College. He is a 1990 graduate of Sterling College. While attending Sterling, he helped shape the program as a student-athlete from one of little success to putting Sterling tennis on the map in the conference. Duke was a 2-time All-KCAC player and a #1 Doubles KCAC Champion as a student-athlete.

Over the years, Coach Duke has coached in several capacities getting his start coaching women’s tennis at Sterling during the 1989-90 season. He then coached women’s tennis at Friends University during the 1990-91 season. After taking time off from coaching, Duke returned as a basketball coach at University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma, where he was an assistant coach for their women’s basketball team. He also coached for St. Gregory’s women’s basketball from 2005-08 and at Oklahoma City University during the 2010-11 men’s basketball season. From 2007-12 he coached in the summers for the People-to-People European basketball program.
