Tennis Sweeps at Kansas Wesleyan

Salina, Kan. – Both the men's and women's tennis teams pulled off big wins on the road at Kansas Wesleyan University on Monday afternoon. The men's team has been looking for momentum as the conference season is getting underway, and it looks like they are swinging in that direction winning their first two KCAC matches. This time over KWU, 4-3. The women's team continues to play flawlessly as they remain undefeated after another "leave no doubt" 7-0 win over the Coyotes.

Women

The women improved to 7-0 this spring with a 7-0 shutout over the Coyotes. The only blemish for the Lady Warriors was a loss in No. 2 doubles. Everything else turned into a win as this Lady Warrior team is looking to make some noise in the regular season and the KCAC tournament. Sterling won the doubles point and swept all the singles matches. Fresh off of her KCAC and NCCAA Player of the Week selections, Natalia Antkowiak had another convincing singles win at No. 5.
