Warrior Tennis Falls to Concordia

Sterling, KS. – Warrior tennis hosted Concordia University in another nonconference match this past Saturday at home. Unfortunately, both men and women would fall to the Bulldogs (7-0) in tough matches.

Women's Tennis vs Concordia (0-7) L

The women played hard matches against Concordia but could not come away with any wins. In singles No. 1 Rachel Carlson would fall (0-6, 0-6), No. 2 Ana Paula Alvarez Diaz would fall (5-7,4-6), No. 3 Camila Castro Medina would fall (3-6, 0-6), No. 4 Brooklyn Kuhn would fall (6-2, 3-6, 3-10), No. 5 Aubrey Anderson would fall (3-6, 3-6), No. 6 Kaylie Fenwick would fall (1-6, 0-6).

In doubles the women would come up short in getting the doubles point. No. 1 Dubs Alvarez and Castro would fall (3-6), No. 2 Dubs Anderson and Carlson would fall (0-6), No. 3 Dubs Fenwick and Kuhn would fall (2-6).

Men's Tennis vs Concordia (0-7) L

The men would struggle against Concordia in difficult matches to fall against the Bulldogs. In single's No. 1 Antonio Paredes would fall (5-7, 2-6), No. 2 Pedro Felipoff would fall (5-7, 6-2, 5-10), No. 3 Angel Marin would fall (2-6, 6-3, 4-10), No.4 Esteban Rocha would fall (2-6, 2-6), No. 5 Santiago Quintero would fall (1-6, 6-7(11-13)), No. 5 Hunter Lee would fall (2-6, 2-6).

Going into doubles the men would go into tuff matches but would not get the doubles point. No. 1 Dubs Paredes and Marin would fall (6-7, 5-7), No. 2 Dubs Felipoff and Rocha would fall (2-6), No. 3 Dubs Blede and Hash would fall (2-6).

Men and Women will travel on Tuesday March 7th to play Pratt Community College in another nonconference match.
