Softball Splits with Sterling in a Doubleheader

Sterling, Kan.– The Graceland University Softball team took on the Sterling College Warriors. The Yellowjackets defeated the Warriors game one, 5-2 and fell in game two, 12-11.

The Scoring – Game 1
T1 – Rebeca Laire would put the Yellowjackets on the board with a three-RBI double to right center; Corry Pickering (single), Kaitlyn Cook (walk), and Paige Cooper (hit-by-pitch) scored (GU:3 | SC: 0)
T2 – Jayda Gay would cross home plate from a Kaitlyn Cook ground out to the pitcher (GU:4 | SC: 0)
B6 – The Warrior would score two runs from a single down the right field line (GU:4 | SC: 2)
