BOTH MEN AND WOMEN FALL TO WARRIORS
Lindsborg, Kan. – The Men's and Women's Tennis teams took on the Sterling College Warriors on Saturday, March 29, for a KCAC matchup that was previously scheduled for Saturday, March 15.
WOMEN'S TENNIS: SWEDES 0, WARRIORS 7
Sterling would take the doubles point 2-1 as Sofia Castillo Paz and Helen Harbit teamed up to defeat the Warriors as the number three duo.
In the singles matches, Harbit had the closest contested match falling in three sets (6-1, 3-6, 0-1 (6-10)). Karee Adam also went three sets in her loss falling 7-6 (7-5), 1-6, 0-1 (5-10).
MEN'S TENNIS: SWEDES 2, WARRIORS 5
Just like the women's side, the Warriors would take the doubles point 2-1 as this time the duo of Francisco Bravo and Martin Priban would win in the number one spot 6-4.
In the singles matches, Bravo won his match in straight sets 6-4, 6-3. Pedro Melo would earn the second team point for the Swedes winning his match 6-2, 6-3.
